Yes. In addition to our premium luxury charter experiences, we offer more affordable trip options for guests who want to enjoy the SALT experience without booking a full-day luxury charter.
Our lower-cost options can be a great fit for smaller groups, shorter outings, guests who are primarily interested in fishing, or customers who want to experience Miami on the water while staying within a specific budget.

Our primary vessel is a luxurious 75’ Hatteras designed for fishing, entertaining, corporate hospitality, and private celebrations.
Our bareboat charter structure allows us to accommodate up to 13 guests total — the charterer plus up to 12 passengers — excluding crew, subject to the specific charter arrangement and applicable requirements.
This is one of the advantages of our charter structure for larger families, corporate groups, and private events.
Many traditional fishing charter vessels operate as passenger-for-hire vessels and are commonly limited to six passengers unless the vessel meets additional U.S. Coast Guard inspection requirements. SALT Luxury Miami uses a different charter structure designed to accommodate larger private groups while complying with applicable charter requirements.
Smaller groups typically enjoy the most comfortable fishing experience, while larger groups are particularly well suited for corporate events, entertaining, and groups that include both anglers and non-anglers.
Our standard crew consists of three crew members. Additional staffing may be required for larger groups, specialized activities, and customized events.
Accessibility depends on each guest’s specific mobility requirements and the boarding arrangements. We recommend discussing your needs with us in advance so we can determine whether the vessel and boarding process are suitable.
Pricing and booking

SALT Luxury Miami operates using a bareboat charter agreement, which is different from a traditional owner-operated fishing charter.
Under a bareboat charter structure, the vessel charter and certain operational expenses and services are separately identified and itemized rather than being bundled together into one traditional passenger-for-hire charter price.
That is why our online pricing begins with a Base Charter and then clearly identifies applicable items associated with your particular experience.
This structure also allows SALT Luxury Miami to accommodate larger private groups. Under applicable U.S. Coast Guard bareboat charter rules, a properly structured bareboat charter may accommodate the charterer plus up to 12 passengers, excluding crew. By comparison, many traditional uninspected passenger-for-hire fishing vessels are limited to six passengers.
We believe in making the pricing transparent, so the applicable vessel, crew, fuel, gratuity, taxes, activities, provisions, and other services are clearly identified in your estimate rather than hidden inside a single price.
Charter pricing is based primarily on the private yacht and duration rather than individual fishing admission. Base pricing accommodates up to 6 guests, with additional guest fees applying for larger groups.
Unless specifically included in your proposal, crew, fuel, tax, gratuity, additional guests, and select add-ons will be charged separately.
Gratuity is not included in the published base charter price.
Fishing charters include professional rods, reels, tackle, and tournament-grade fishing equipment. Bait and additional provisions may be arranged depending on the selected package. We provide bottled water and ice.
Your reservation email confirmation will outline the required deposit, final payment schedule, final guest-count deadline, cancellation and rescheduling provisions, and any applicable fees related to changes in attendance.
Yes we offer the option of purchasing Trip Protection which allows you to cancel your charter at any time for any reason up to 7 days prior to the charter start for a full refund. You will be reimbursed for the full amount, less the cost of trip protection and processing fees.
Charter Duration and Departure
Charter duration depends on the selected package. We offer several different trip lengths and experiences, including shorter trips for guests looking for a more affordable option, as well as extended private yacht experiences.

No. Your reservation time is when your charter begins—delays or late arrivals do not extend your time on the water.
We recommend securing your preferred date as early as possible, especially for corporate events, larger groups, holidays, and special occasions. All dates are subject to availability and our booking terms.

Accordion Content
Guests may discuss bringing food and beverages aboard in advance. We also offer private chef and onboard dining options, including customized menus and corporate-style catering. Please note we do not allow red wine or red beverages.
Alcohol is permitted but subject to our operating and safety policies. Beverage service and provisions can be arranged for your group in advance. Please note we do not allow red wine.
Fishing and Onboard Activities
Florida requires a valid saltwater fishing license for most people who fish in Florida unless an exemption applies.
When an individual license is required, it can be purchased conveniently online through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

Guests should obtain any required license before the charter and keep proof of the license available while fishing.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission currently allows individuals to purchase an annual non-resident fishing license online or by phone. This option is convenient but more costly at approximately $65.00.
For international and non-resident guests, licenses can be obtained through the FWC online portal or by calling their customer service line. Please note that when purchasing online or by phone, non-residents are typically required to purchase an annual license.
Alternatively, a more affordable option is available for non-residents who only need short-term access. A 3-day temporary fishing license is available for approximately $17.00, but this must be obtained in person at a local tax collector’s office.

No. Fishing is entirely optional. Guests may relax aboard the yacht, cruise, swim, snorkel, dine, enjoy the water, or participate in other activities.

Safety and Weather
The yacht is equipped with required marine safety equipment, professional fishing gear, and related equipment. Our crew will review relevant safety procedures and provide guidance throughout the charter.
The captain retains final authority regarding weather and operating conditions. If severe weather or unsafe conditions arise, we will work with you to determine the appropriate rescheduling or cancellation solution under the applicable charter agreement.
Waivers are required for all guests aboard. The required forms will be provided during the booking process.
Insurance and Documentation
Insurance and Certificate of Insurance requirements for corporate clients can be addressed during the booking process. If your organization requires a COI, please provide the relevant requirements for review.
Additional-insured requests may be reviewed during the booking process. Please send us the required insurance language so we can evaluate the request and coordinate the appropriate documentation.
Your charter agreement outlines the event-specific terms, certain pricing, cancellation and rescheduling provisions, guest responsibilities, and other applicable requirements.
Your paid receipt is a full accounting of charges and evidence that payment for the charter is settled.
